Just discovered that Andres Courbiere of Nelson Alamo book reference could be a distant relative through the Acadian side of my family. Am researching he and others associated with the creation of San Antonio. The latest can be found via the various buttons at any of the http://Plaza.Jamrent.com pages regarding the Canary Islanders and subsequent establishment of the first city of Texas in the Main Plaza of San Antonio. juan seguin had a son jose erasmo born 1829 and married teresa josefa courbiere flores in 1855. they had 7 kids and one of them was erasmo and he married zaragosa delgado valdez. their daughter bernice married ruben casanova, his ggrandma was miguela courbiere casanova born 1828. miguela and teresa are 1st cousin. we are related to both bernice n ruben.

I have four children my oldest son is Michael James Casanova then my daughter Priscilla Rivera mother of Marcos and Anthony Carbajal.
