I am so happy to visit your web site. I just want to tell you that you must remember that there are tens of thousands and tens of thousands of Séguin in Québec, Canada, 99,99% of them being French speaking.
Best Regards.

Pierre Séguin, born in Montréal in 1965, father of two young Séguin, Émile and Jérôme.

I am the youngest daughter of Olivia Seguin, niece to Raymond Seguin Sr. of Austin, Tx. My grandfather also was named Erasmo Seguin and lived in a farm outside of San Antonio. I have always been intrigued my mothers family history regarding Juan Seguin. Many of her relatives including her mother Andrea Garcia-Seguin and Erasmo Seguin are buried in Greytown, Texas. My mother says we are directly related, but I don't know how far the family line goes to reach the point af actual relation. I would like to educate myself a little more if someone can help????

I know that Juan Seguin came back to Mexico. He was originally buried in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. My grandfather Juan F. Seguin lived in Mexico City, and Monterrey. My father Jorge Seguin Trevino was born in Mexico City. I was born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila. I have been interested in family tree. My father's sister Diana took it to Mexico City with her when their mother Evita Trevino de Seguin passed away.

Here is a better sequence....JNSeguin had a daughter, Maria Josefa who in 1856 married Alfred A. Lewis in San Antonio. Abt. 1858 there was born to them Erasmo Lewis, who abt. 1889 married Maria de Jesus Ornelas in Chihuahua, Mexico, daughter of Juan Nepomuseno Ornelas and Ysable Maese. Erasmo had Alfredo Lewis, Otilia Lewis (Rios) and Oscar Lewis (1910) in Mexico City. Oscar Lewis married Mercedez Schwartz (1942) in Las Cruces, N.M. and they had Oscar Alfonso Lewis Jr., Beatriz Josefina Lewis (Rosas) and me (1947) in El Paso, Texas. I married Maria Guadalupe Aguilera in 1972 and we have a son Diego Mario Lewis (1980) living in Chicago, Il. and Elena Angelika Lewis (1985) living in Germantown, Md. Lupe and I reside in Silver Spring, MD.

Hi I dont know who I am writing to, but I was curious. My uncle had done a family history and said that we were decedents of Juan Seguin. Is there more details as far as names of the children or would you have a way of finding out. My greatgrandmother's name was Librada Montalvo Treviño.I understood that it was through her family. I was wanting to know how many generations we were from Seguin. The family had a farm in Green Tx (no longer exist) near Kenedy Tx. Roman Treviño was her husband. My uncle was Ruben Trevñno he passed away last year. He was the one who had done the research on the family tree.
